In this series, I reinterpret female figures from fairy tales, religion and myth.

Through staged photography and exaggerated color, I reconstruct these archetypes instead of simply illustrating them.

Drama and kitsch are used deliberately, often with a subtle ironic twist.

The work questions how femininity has been shaped by myth while reclaiming these narratives.

"The witch" is inspired by the evil witch of Hänsel & Gretel. It shows the moment when she gets thrown into the oven.

"The evil queen and her mirror" is a photo comic inspired by the queen from snow white

"Cockroach" is about beauty and decay, or how a single cockroach can disrupt perfect harmony

"Sin" started to be focused on the "apple". I kind of merched two worlds. The world of snow white and of Adam & Eve.

"Alice" was the first fairytail related work I made, back in 2021. It was more kind of an experiment that inspired me to do more.
