Einverleiben

Two bodies, formed from dough and bread, encounter and touch each other. They lose their original shape, crumble, and are continuously reborn.
 

Bread here stands for everyday life, sustenance, and closeness, but also for dependency and consumption. In the act of kneading, the boundary between “I” and “you” blurs. Care and violence lie close together; tenderness and destruction become indistinguishable.
 

The series views relationship not as a fixed state, but as an ongoing process of dissolution and new beginnings. It shows that relationship means work—on oneself and in togetherness. Identity is not preserved, but constantly renegotiated.
